Opus Charity Walk / Run for Breast Cancer Now

by Opus Couture in News & Events

The Opus team would love to give a MASSIVE thank you to all our walkers and runners, supporters, helpers and the amazing “Team Tiara”  from our Charity 5k/10k walk/run for Breast Cancer Now at Kelburn County Estate on Sun 3rd Sept 2017.

The rain came down from the heavens but our inspiring competitors would not be deterred and they flew round the course in their Tiaras!

The Amazing Neil

We raised a whopping £4258.66 for Breast Cancer Now!!

The bold and brave Neil Cain completed 10k wearing one of Opus Couture’s wedding dresses and his own personal fundraising for “Tiara Together” was incredible!

Brenda Clark

Our very own Opus girl, the strong, beautiful and talented Brenda Clark sang for us on the day and there wasn't a dry eye in house!

Our Fantastic Runners

At Opus we have worked with many women who have and have been affected by breast cancer.
Our mission is to find her a gown which makes her feel and be the most beautiful she has ever been.
Our job is to build her confidence and help her find her own beautiful uniqueness so she can truly express herself.
We work with women to cover their scars, fit their gowns around reconstructive surgery or disguise their mastectomy.

The attack breast cancer has on a women's femininity should in no way deter her from being beautiful.
Tiara Together is about celebrating the strength and endurance a woman has to possess to get herself and her family through this threat.
This strength and endurance is her beautiful uniqueness and it's powerful and inspiring.

So let's stand together ladies and gentleman, let's offer our support and celebrate these amazing women and their family's.
