Our First WONA Concept Wedding Dress Trunk Show & Runway Event in Scotland

Late November 2025 marked a very special moment for us at Opus Couture. For the first time ever, we hosted a trunk show combined with a runway event in-store and we couldn’t think of a better way to do it than by introducing the latest WONA Concept wedding dresses, shown in Scotland for the very first time.
The event took place right here in our West Kilbride boutique, which was transformed for the evening into an intimate runway space. It was a chance to showcase not only an exceptional designer, but also the experience we love to create for our brides.
WONA Concept is celebrated internationally for its modern approach to bridal design. The collections are confident, feminine and beautifully crafted, with each gown designed to make a statement without losing its sense of romance. Being able to present brand-new gowns that had never been seen in Scotland felt incredibly special: both for us and for the brides who joined us.
Throughout the evening, six models showcased a curated selection of WONA Concept dresses, each styled to highlight the structure, movement and detail of the gowns. Seeing the dresses on the runway brought them to life in a way that simply can’t be replicated on a hanger. From sleek silhouettes to dramatic trains and intricate detailing, every look told its own story.
We were delighted to welcome so many guests into the boutique to share the experience with us. The atmosphere was warm, exciting and full of conversation, with brides, friends and family enjoying the chance to see something truly exclusive. Having the professional photographer Jakki Brock in-store allowed us to capture those moments: the anticipation, the reactions, and the quiet details that make events like this so memorable. We were also very lucky to have a pro-team of hair make-up artists to help bring our bridal vision to life.
For us, this event was about more than unveiling a new wedding gowns. It was about showing what it means to be an Opus bride. We believe finding your wedding dress should feel considered, inspiring and personal, and hosting events like this allows us to offer something beyond the traditional appointment.
